Eavesdropping
I just overheard the following conversation between my children (Jared age 8, and Everett age 4).
E: I have a girlfriend.
J: What's her name?
E: Kaho-chan. We want to get married.
J: Do you want to kiss her?
E: Ewww! Yuck!
J: You have to kiss her if you're gonna get married.
E: No I don't!
J: Being married means you have to kiss.
E: I'm gonna tell Mom you're being gross!

haha thats great!!! is he gonna be heartbroken when he leaves now??aw bless him.
kids are cute
beckyyy: Well, today he was saying how he has 2 girlfriends because they're both the prettiest, so I have a feeling it's not real love yet. He'll be able to recoop.
speaka: Aren't they?
Most excellent, hehe. Two girlfriends, eh? My youngest brother was 11 years younger than me, so he started talking about the time my sister and I started hitting our teens. He had more social success by 6 than I'd had in all my teen years. ;-)
Cheers,
PGE
And how did your brother turn out? I wonder if it's healthy for them to take too much interest in the opposite sex as other than friends at this age. I don't discourage it, but I worry slightly.
