D'oh!
I've been cautious this year about taking days off from work, for fear I would run out of paid leave and wouldn't have it when I needed it. As it turns out, I was overly cautious. Today I began scheduling when I would use my vacation days and realized that there's no possible way for me to use all of them before my contract ends. (O_o)

I think I have exactly one day left. I feel like I have done fairly well using them up... Don't get all that many anyway. Weird to start thinking about boing home.
When does hubby leave?
of course that 'boing' was meant to be 'going'!!!
TJ: I've been correcting so many student papers that I didn't even notice your spelling error until you pointed it out. Precise spelling seems to lose its importance after you've been in Japan for so long, anyway.
Hubby leaves the 24th. Originally he was supposed to leave sooner, but we kept delaying.
