Two Brief Updates
UPDATE #1: The missing slug from yesterday was found this morning tucked inside a crevice underneath the lid of its cage. It was sentenced to death for trying to escape. The execution was carried out promptly by Everett, who was armed with a handful of salt. Now you don't have to lose sleep. (Not that you were.)
UPDATE #2: I have decided to wait to get my tattoo, the main factor in my decision being that I don't want to influence my children into getting their own body art the second they turn 18. I figure in about 26 years (after Everett turns 30), the coast should be clear. Hopefully I still have a body part remaining that's not too saggy by then.

Poor slug...but glad you guys found it.
Interesting reasoning for not getting the tattoo...why wouldn't you want them to get tattoos at 18? Actually wouldn't you getting a tattoo encourage them not to get one..."I'm a rebel and don't wanna act like my mom!"
I don't want my kids to do anything rash that's so permanent. I'd like them to put some serious thought into it, instead of going out and getting a tattoo of the current "Milli Vanilli" band. Besides, they might try to outdo me on colorfullness and size. But I like your idea of reverse psychology.
