View her complete profile.
WELCOME! The Beyond J-Land blog is a smorgasbord of mostly lighthearted excerpts from my life. Excluding chronological, there is little organization or method to the tidbits I author. However, fashion tragedies, questionable sanity, bugs, nostalgia, friends, family, Japan, the States, culture shock and reverse culture shock have been recurring topics thus far. Feel free to take a peek at what life looks like through this girl's eyes.

Can i have that cat, pleeeaaazzze!!! i will swap it for...all my frog-themed stuff!!??
i think anotehr reason should be those mega cute and slightly ridiculous bib- jacket things the pre-school kids wear! (as modelled bu everett)
Beck: You can have him when we leave. Oh, wait--You're leaving, too.
Kat: They're called enjofuku (thought it might save you some wordage to know the real name, although that was a perfect description), and--you're right--I'll miss them, too.
How old is Everett in that photo? Is it recent? The enjofuku makes him look chichai!! As cute as ever though.
Hes FAT for a stray isnt he!!!!
TJ: No, the pic was taken last spring. Can't believe how much he's grown.
Stubby: We feed him a bit, as do a lot of the people in the neighborhood. We're the only ones that he lets pet him, though.
No, I mean can u send him to me...now!! the cats near my apartment all hate me and i love fat cats. He will be much happier here in karato...go on.. :):):)
Becky: Let me think about it........NOOOOOOOOOOO! (I mean that in the nicest way possible. ^_^
