Potato Pride

I just read an an article from Reuters discussing on ongoing controversial issue in Idaho: Now that Idaho's chief export is microchips and not potato chips (in fact, potatoes now rank 3rd even among the state's agricultural exports), should the slogan "Famous Potatoes" be taken off Idaho's license plates? Most Idaho residents say yes, but the Idaho Potato Commission is against it. Frank Muir, the commission's president, argues, "We don't have to be embarrassed by our agricultural roots. Why not be proud of your potato?" ...Oh brother.
