Haircut = Sex Change?
Three-year-old Everett informed me this morning, "If you have short hair, you're a boy. If you have long hair, you're a girl." Hmm... He may not have it entirely figured out yet, but at least he didn't announce at preschool what Jared did at the same age: "Boys have elephants. Girls don't."

The strange coincidence about Jared & the elephant thing is that kids in Japan sometimes call their 'elephants' zousan (Mr. Elephant), but he came up with that nickname long before Japan.
goongirl: You're not a boy, silly! It really doesn't have anything to do with haircuts. Maybe you should talk to your parents about this. ;)
