A Valuable Lesson in Japanese
Last night Everett (age 3) was teaching me Japanese by translating various English words into the language. At one point during the lesson he said, "Nihongo de, 'hello' wa 'haro.'" In other words, "In Japanese, 'hello' is 'haro.'*" Think I should try using my new Japanese word at work today?
*For those of you who have never been to Japan, 'haro' is a very poor pronunciation of 'hello.'
