A Visit with an Old Acquaintance
Meet Sue. She is the largest and most complete Tyrannosaurus Rex ever discovered. My family and I met Sue in Idaho during 2003, just shortly before heading to Japan. To our surprise, she is currently making a stop at the Kitakyushu Museum of Natural History. When we heard the news, we had to pay her another visit.
Like me, Sue comes from a state with a small population (South Dakota). Also like me, she didn't begin travelling the world until an older age than most (67 million years for her), and Japan is her first trip abroad. Just goes to show, a gal's never too old to become adventuresome!
If you want to see Sue in person, she'll be on display in Kitakyushu through March 31st.
Hubby about to be devoured by "Stan" (unrelated to Sue).
The kids and I with a stegosaurus--my favorite dinosaur since childhood. Check out my new scarf that doubles as a pet poodle.
