Woohoo! I'm on Vacation!

Everett has a fever and couldn't go to preschool today. Since I have no classes today (it's the day of the school run), I am the one who is staying home with him while my husband goes to work.

I'm not complaining (or at least not that I will openly admit), but Japanese teachers who are mothers are given a set amount of leave to stay at home with sick children. I, however, must use my vacation time.
