Falling to Pieces
Yet another creature fell victim to my youngest son yesterday.Everett caught this baby gecko and smuggled it into our apartment last night. By the time I discovered him with it, the poor thing had already lost its tail.
After snapping the gruesome picture to the left, I instructed Everett to let his amputee loose outside. Shortly after, I heard our outside door open and then shut, and assumed the gecko had been safely released. As it turns out, the gecko was released, just not outdoors.
This morning Everett informed me that he only put the tail outside and that the gecko is running loose somewhere inside our apartment... Aaaaaah!

Yey! Go Everett. Lizards come a close second to frogs as my fave. Lizards here in Japan bite though. I love catching them in Australia.
Go Everett? That poor lizard will probably die in our apartment before we find it. Maybe I will send Everett to your apartment so he can capture you some new roommates. ;)
